Pioneer Bridges is a division of Bailey Bridges, Inc. are both American companies that have been producing prefabricated vehicular and pedestrian steel bridges since the 1950’s. Our bridges are made right here in Fort Payne, Alabama with steel manufactured the United States.
Our steel bridges are in parks, golf courses, and cities. Pioneer Bridges are used for hiking and biking trails, crossing waterways, crossing small ravines, and more.

Don’t worry, we didn’t mind. In fact, we’re thrilled to offer such outstanding, long lasting, and beautiful bridges. That’s what makes our bridges unique–their intrinsic beauty. After all, you want the bridge to add ambiance to the setting not deter from it.
We have six different styles of steel bridges and an enormous variety of finishes–everything from weathered steel to canary yellow!
Our engineering team is registered in 48 states and has designed thousands of prefabricated steel bridges. Pioneer Bridges’ production facility is AISC Major Bridge Certified and has been preapproved by several state DOTs. We have a Certified Welding Inspector on staff and all of our welders are certified to the AWS D1.5 Bridge Welding Code.
We’re picky too. That’s why we have the following staff to ensure that all of our bridges are safe, durable, and reliable:

- CWI (Certified Welding Inspector)
- Welders Certified to ANSI/AASHTO/AWS D1.5 Bridge Welding Code
- QC Inspectors – Certified to SNT-TC-1A Level III
Plus, we have dedicated blasting and painting facilities and all of our raw materials are stored in a dry location.
